Overview of Css(Cascading Style Sheet)

Css  एक style sheet Language है जिसका use webpage Document के Appreance और Formatting को describe करने के लिए किया जाता है जो(web document) Markup Language मे लिखे गए हो इन markup Language के कुछ ex- Html और Xml है

Css हमे web content से web content की presentation से संबंधित instruction को अलग रखने मे सक्षम बनाती है

उदाहरण के लिए हम Html element(Code) की मदद से webpage पर image को specify कर सकते है और Css Code की मदद से हम webpag पर उस image की Position specify कर सकते है web content के presentation से related code or Instruction को separate Css Document मे describe किया जा सकता है Css Document को ही Cascading Style sheet नाम से जाना जाता है Instruction का यह separation website को improve content accessibility, flexibility और style sharing जैसे feature provide करता है

एक css style sheet मे rules(css कोड) की एक लिस्ट होती है जिसमे एक या एक से अधिक selectors और declaration block शामिल रहते है Selectors का use Markup element को declare करने मे किया जाता है जिस पर Css style apply की जानी हो जबकि एक declaration block मे Braces के अंदर css कोड या declaration rules की List होती है
